Job Description

As a Business System Analyst (Workday HCM Analyst) at Commvault, your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. You will be responsible for reviewing and configuring Workday setup, troubleshooting system issues, and partnering with HR and IT teams to enhance functionality. Your deep expertise in Workday HCM modules, strong analytical skills, and ability to recommend system improvements based on business needs will be key to your success. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and assessing Workday HCM configurations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with HR policies. You will optimize business processes, workflows, security roles, and setup within Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Absence Management. Identifying system inefficiencies, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Workday reports to provide HR insights, assist HR and business users with Workday inquiries, provide system training, and document best practices. You will also participate in Workday releases, conduct testing, and assess the impact of updates on system configurations. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience as a Workday HCM analyst, administrator, or consultant with hands-on configuration experience. Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Business Processes, Security, Reporting, and Data Management is essential. Workday HCM Certification is preferred, and knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, PECI) is a plus. Familiarity with Workday Prism, Adaptive Planning, or Extend, as well as security and SaaS experience, is strongly preferred.
