Gallagher Center of Excellence is seeking to hire a Business System Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting user stories, leading requirements sessions, managing squad priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality functionality and user experience. This role facilitates Agile practices, maintains effective stakeholder communication, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The objective is to enhance project outcomes and drive business efficiency through precise analysis and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major Action and Support Actions

1.

User Story Documentation: Document detailed user stories and estimate delivery effort to ensure clear and actionable requirements, including wireframing of user experience elements, articulation of functional platform capabilities, definition of acceptance criteria, capture of non-functional requirements to support evolution of platform capabilities.

2.

Requirements Sessions: Lead requirements sessions with business SMEs to document and groom requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs. Requirements Validation: Ensure that user stories and requirements accurately capture the intended functionality and user experience.

Requirements clarification & Prioritization: Define work priorities for the squad through sprint planning, rebalance and support trade-offs during sprint execution, align with SMEs and Collective Lead around areas requiring further elaboration, and provide support to engineering and quality assurance team members in further clarifying business intent of user stories

4.

Facilitation of Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate requirements grooming sessions and sprint demos to ensure clear communication and alignment within the team

5.

Daily Standups and Status Meetings: Participate in daily standup meetings and weekly status meetings, communicate delivery status, and manage issues and risks effectively

6.

Test Scenario Documentation: Document test scenarios and execution steps, ensuring traceability to user stories and requirements.
