Serving over 10 million U.S. households and 19 million individual policies nationwide, our client is part of one of the largest Insurance Groups globally. **Role Overview:** You will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of the India site in alignment with Business Services strategy, overseeing operations, service delivery excellence, financial management, stakeholder engagement, talent development, governance, and compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute the vision and operational strategy for the India site in coordination with Business Services strategy - Optimize business functions including underwriting, claims processing, policy servicing, finance, analytics, and IT services for efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness - Implement best practices, process automation, and technology-driven solutions to enhance productivity, service quality, and customer experience - Drive cost efficiencies and operational KPIs for high-value delivery - Partner with Business Services Head, business units, and technology teams to align offshore operations with our client priorities - Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement - Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, and compliance standards, maintaining strong controls and operational resilience **Qualifications Required:** - Deep expertise in managing operations, leading large teams, and collaborating with global stakeholders - Strong background in general insurance, financial services, and understanding of underwriting, claims, policy administration, and digital transformation - 10+ years of experience in leadership roles with knowledge in global business services, operations, technology, and/or shared services - Understanding of key HR processes, talent management, and performance management to foster a great Employee Experience - Proven experience in setting up, scaling, and managing large teams (500+ FTEs) in a captive or offshore shared services model - Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience - Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, including cloud, AI, RPA, and advanced analytics in an insurance or financial services setting - Ability to work across geographies, managing stakeholders in the US, India, and other global locations - Strong understanding of US insurance regulations, data security, and compliance frameworks for offshore operations This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, comprehensive benefits package, home office model, career development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, dynamic work culture, private health insurance, pension plan, paid time off, and training & development.
