This position reports to Business Manager - Commercial&Operations Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a global or local business leader. Each day, you will be responsible for operations activities and portfolio management for a particular business/ division. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining research and development oversight. The work model for the role is: #Li_hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for:Establishing and maintaining a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).Deploying the respective procurement and logistics strategy and ABBs quality strategy and ensuring project execution from order to service.Delivering targets for operations: safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Taking responsibility for quality assurance, quality control, and the implementation of an integrated quality management system. Qualifications for the role You implement the Portfolio/Product Group strategy and ensures business development, including profit and loss (P&L). You will be responsible for operations activities and Portfolio Management which could include Research & Development oversight. Minimum 15 to 20years experience in Renowned Manufacturing / Automation industry who has handled entire P&L responsibility. You will be held accountable for Strategy, Performance targets, Market opportunities, Management of Operations / Project- Management, Delivery, Profitability, Quality, Project execution, Standards, Governance and Risk Management, Safety & Integrity. BE in Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics in manufacturing or automation industry. You are at ease communicating in English with 60-70 % travel.
