Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experiencedBusiness Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a Business IntelligenceEngineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintainingreporting across various departments within our organization. You willcollaborate with other teams such as Data, Credit, Finance, Operations, Legal,and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate theminto reporting solutions. Your expertise in Tableau will play a critical rolein enhancing our business intelligence capabilities and enabling data-drivendecision-making.

Responsibilities:

Business IntelligenceDevelopment (Tableau or Sigma):

Design, develop, and implementdashboards and reports to meet business requirements.

Create visually appealing andinteractive visualisations that effectively communicate complex data insightsto stakeholders.

Optimize workbooks and datasources for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with business usersto gather requirements and translate them into visualisations.

Build custom calculations,parameters, filters, and other advanced BI functionalities to address specificbusiness needs.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Create comprehensive reportsand executive summaries to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

Collaborate with business usersto define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for monitoring businessperformance.

Automate data refreshes andreport generation processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights.

Document solutions, datasources, and workflows to maintain knowledge base and promote reusability.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

2+ years of experience as aBusiness Intelligence Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Tableau orSigma development and implementation.

Experience working withfinance-related data sets (ex: FinTech, Lending, Financial Services, or relatedindustries)

Proficiency in Tableau or Sigma,including advanced calculations, parametrization, and dashboard optimization.

Strong understanding of datamodeling concepts and experience working with relational and multidimensionaldatabases.

Advanced SQL skills andexperience working with complex data sets.

Intermediate experience withPython scripting.

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data intoactionable insights.

Excellent communication andcollaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail anda commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Experience developing dbtpipelines is a plus.
