Business Intelligence Engineer

You are looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join the team of one of our MNC clients in Pune. As a BI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing BI dashboards and reports to support both operational and strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining BI dashboards using tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI. You will also perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to meet reporting needs and analyze structured and semi-structured data to provide actionable insights. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver ad-hoc analytical support will be crucial. Additionally, you will validate data accuracy and ensure the performance optimization of dashboards and reports. Continuously enhancing BI solutions to align with evolving KPIs and business needs will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have strong experience with BI tools like Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau. A good understanding of SQL for data querying and report building is essential, along with familiarity with Cognos Cubes and metadata modeling. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required, as you will be translating business needs into technical solutions effectively.
