Role Overview: As a visionary business leader at Matrimony.com Ltd, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the future of the marketplace. Your responsibilities will go beyond scaling numbers to shaping a high-impact platform that touches millions of lives across the country. You will be crafting and executing the long-term vision, driving supply and demand at scale, strengthening operations, influencing product evolution, and delivering breakthrough growth with a profitable business model. The ideal candidate will thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment, balancing strategy with hands-on execution, and setting new benchmarks in customer experience, scale, and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Supply Scale Up - Design and execute a robust strategy to rapidly expand and deepen supply across India. - Build scalable processes to ensure supply quality, consistency, and reliability. - Partner with supply ecosystems to co-create growth opportunities and execute them at scale. - Demand Acceleration - Lead innovative demand generation strategies to fuel adoption and engagement. - Integrate the marketplace with the organization's broader portfolio, unlocking cross-sell and upsell opportunities. - Leverage partnerships and data-driven insights to accelerate demand growth. - Operations - Architect and scale operations to ensure speed, reliability, and efficiency. - Continuously optimize processes to enable growth while maintaining cost discipline. - Product & Innovation - Collaborate closely with Product teams to co-own the marketplace vision and roadmap. - Drive innovations that enhance product-market fit, powered by customer insights and market trends. - Customer Experience & Insights - Be the champion of customer experience, designing and delivering seamless, differentiated experiences. - Build a strong customer insights engine and use it to continuously innovate across supply, demand, and operations. - People Leadership - Inspire, coach, and lead large national teams across supply, operations, and growth functions. - Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and innovation. - Build leadership depth and create a talent engine that supports scale. Qualification Required: - 20+ years of experience building and scaling businesses across 0-1, 1-10, and 10-100 stages. - Proven success in leading national-scale businesses with large sales teams. - Track record of driving growth and profitability in Consumer Internet, Telecom, Fintech, FMCG/CPG, Banking/Insurance, or other consumer-tech driven industries. - Experience managing businesses of 500+ crore scale with measurable outcomes. - 12+ years of people leadership, with demonstrated ability to build and inspire high-growth teams. - MBA from a top-tier institution preferred.
