Business Head - Investment Advisory

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Business Head – Investment Advisory Position Overview: Business Head - Investment Advisory shall be responsible for setting up the Investment advisory vertical for the company. The right candidate would have hands on experience in setting up and scaling investment advisory platform and also have the expertise to understand the Financial Goal of the Customer and his/her risk appetite and accordingly advise suitable solutions to the customer. He should be able to advice the right investment/ insurance products to the customer, based on the customer profile. He should also have handled a minimum AUM of 25 Cr and led an independent team. Key Responsibilities: • Source HNI clients for the Business of the Organization. • Develop and Nurture a sales team to source business from the open market across different product lines. • Understand the customer needs, limitations, resources and financial goals. • Identify most suitable investment plan for the customer, advise accordingly and help him successfully complete the transaction. • Identify the cross-sell and upsell opportunities with the existing customers on regular basis, advise accordingly and expand the portfolio basket. • Good understanding of Investment Advisory Tech platforms. Qualification Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (preferable) Experience: 4-5 years’ of experience in investment advisory role, with banks/ financial institutions/ Mutual Fund Distributors.
