Business Finance Senior Analyst, Associate

Role Overview: You will be joining as a Business Finance Senior Analyst in Mumbai, India, working with the Fixed Income Credit product suite. Your role will involve producing business level revenue attribution, financial accounting, and financial disclosures. You will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of Profit and Loss (PnL) for each business unit, ensuring understanding and explanation of risk positions and PnL drivers. Additionally, you will ensure all bank transactions and positions are accurately reflected in the bank's accounting records and disclosures following relevant accounting standards. Your responsibilities will also include monthly ledger closure for Balance Sheet and Income Statement of the products. Key Responsibilities: - Accurate and timely production of daily T+1 P&L production, attribution, and analysis - Providing daily commentary and variance investigation to Front Office traders and senior Finance managers - Investigating and resolving break issues such as Model vs Actual (Ledger) Cash, FO/MO system vs trade docs - Understanding trade flows, booking structures, and ensuring accurate funding cost allocation through Funds transfer pricing - Taking appropriate journals as per IFRS/US GAAP accounting standards and investigating control breaks independently - Supporting audit queries promptly and resolving model risk control exceptions - Ensuring compliance with risk and control guidelines and managing stakeholders effectively Qualifications Required: - Experience in Financial Control and product control in Investment Banking, specifically in Credit products - Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products like Bonds, CDS, TRS, IRS & Loans, along with F&O - Preferably familiar with IFRS/GAAP and front to back Investment Banking environment - Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and escalate issues when necessary - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
