Business Finance Senior Analyst, Associate

The Business Finance Senior Analyst, Associate position based in Mumbai, India, focuses on the production of business level revenue attribution, financial accounting, and financial disclosures. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Profit and Loss (PnL) for each business unit, understanding the drivers behind risk positions and PnL, and reflecting all Bank transactions and positions correctly in accounting records and disclosures as per relevant accounting standards. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial control activities, including timely and accurate ledger reporting, problem-solving for break investigations, daily P&L production, attribution and analysis, providing commentary and variance investigation to Front Office traders and senior Finance managers, ensuring compliance with risk and control guidelines, stakeholder management, and understanding trade flows for accurate funding cost allocation. To excel in this position, you should have experience in financial control and product control in Investment Banking, a strong understanding of financial market products, knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, and familiarity with front-to-back Investment Banking environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, good time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. Ideally, you should be a qualified CA/CFA/MBA and will receive training, coaching, and support to help you progress in your career.
