Business Development (Sales)

As a Market Research Associate at Shiplyst.com, your primary responsibility will be to perform market research on prospective clients to expand the customer database. This will involve meeting potential customers, setting up meetings, cold calling, and generating leads. Additionally, you will assist existing clients and vendors in utilizing the product, resolving queries, and providing timely responses. Handling inbound queries via chat/phone and collecting feedback from customers and vendors to report to supervisors and the product team are also essential tasks. This role will offer you the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in customer service (inbound) and various aspects of the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities: - Perform market research on prospective clients to expand the customer database - Meet potential customers, set up meetings, cold call, and generate leads - Assist existing clients and vendors in utilizing the product, resolving queries, and providing timely responses - Handle inbound queries via chat/phone and collect feedback from customers and vendors - Report feedback to supervisors and the product team Qualifications Required: - UG degree in any specialization, with a preference for B.A in Economics or BMS - PG degree in any specialization, especially an MBA/PGDM is desirable - Prior experience in Sales/Marketing would be advantageous - Proficiency in MS-Office - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Shiplyst.com offers an extremely competitive fixed salary, year-end bonuses based on performance, and medical insurance for self and dependents, including parents.
