Business Development / Sales Manager

The Business Development / Sales Manager for EPC Electrical Projects is required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the electrical contracting industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to bring in new projects for various sectors including industrial, residential, commercial, IT parks, and hospitals. The ideal candidate should possess a strong network of connections with design consultants, architects, and project management consultants (PMCs) to influence project awards. Key responsibilities of the Business Development / Sales Manager include identifying and securing electrical EPC contracts for different types of projects, establishing and nurturing relationships with consultants, architects, PMCs, and project awarding authorities, generating leads and converting them into long-term contracts, monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects, as well as documenting sales performance and client interactions. Candidates applying for this position should have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or an MBA qualification is preferred. Additionally, the preferred candidates would be individuals with prior experience in winning projects within industrial, commercial, and hospital sectors, particularly from ESA Grade Electrical Contracting companies. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, requiring the Business Development / Sales Manager to work in person. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a proven ability to close high-value deals, maintain a record of sales performance, and exhibit a proactive approach in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the EPC electrical projects domain.,
