Role Description

We are hiring a Business Development Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Chennai.In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and analyze market and industry trends to discover new opportunities.
Generate and qualify leads through research, outreach, and networking.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key point of contact.
Coordinate with sales, production, and customer service teams for smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up on submitted quotes.
Support new product implementation in collaboration with technical and NPD teams.
Manage contracts, renewals, and client documentation.
Track performance, prepare reports, and share insights with management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
24 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in technical/manufacturing industries).
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.
Proficiency in Tamil and English.

Extra Advantage:
Experience in account management within the manufacturing sector.
