Position: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Location: Calicut (Field-based)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Officer to expand our presence in the Calicut region. The role focuses on building strong relationships with sofa manufacturing units and related partners, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sustainable growth through strategic market engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit and coordinate with sofa manufacturing units to build long-term professional relationships
• Identify new business opportunities and convert potential leads into business
• Develop and execute market strategies to increase brand presence and sales
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and follow-ups
• Maintain a database of clients, prospects, and market feedback
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the furniture segment
• Achieve assigned business targets through strategic planning and execution

Requirements

• Any degree/diploma (Marketing / Business preferred)
• Experience in field sales / business development is an advantage (freshers with strong communication skills can also apply)
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel within the Calicut area
• Two-wheeler preferred

• Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month
