Business Development Officer

Job Summary

The CASA Sales Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers and driving sales of Current and Savings Accounts. The role includes field sourcing, customer engagement, relationship management, and achieving monthly acquisition and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition

• Source new customers for

  Current Account (CA)

  and

  Savings Account (SA)

  through field visits, cold calling, references, and corporate activities.
• Generate leads from open market, corporate tie-ups, and promotional activities.
• Ensure onboarding of quality customers with all documentation & KYC norms.
  

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

• Achieve monthly CASA acquisition and value targets.
• Cross-sell banking products such as FD/RD, insurance, debit cards, mobile banking, and third-party products.
  

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of queries.
• Engage with customers to deepen relationships and drive product penetration.
  

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Complete all KYC/AML requirements as per bank guidelines.
• Ensure accurate documentation, account opening forms, and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain data quality and reduce account rejections.
  

5. Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
• Share insights to support branch strategies and sales planning.
  

Key Skills Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven mindset with ability to work under targets.
• Good understanding of banking products (CASA, deposits, digital banking).
• Field sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: 03 years (Freshers or candidates with field sales experience preferred).
