Business Development Manager Retail Real Estate
Location: Kolkata / Bhubaneswar Industry: Retail Real Estate (Fashion & Lifestyle)About the Role:Technosport is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Retail Real Estate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing prime retail locations across key territories. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to build lasting relationships with landlords and developers.Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate suitable real estate opportunities through site visits, analysis, and demographic studies.Collaborate closely with Operations, Projects, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure optimal site selection.Identify store relocation opportunities and manage rent renegotiations for underperforming locations.Conduct thorough competitor and market analysis to stay ahead of emerging retail trends.Negotiate Letters of Intent (LOI) and lease deal terms to the brands advantage for new store launches.Liaise with landlords, mall owners, and property dealers for ongoing site discussions.Review and manage lease-related legal documentation and compliance processes.Maintain regular interactions with landlords, developers, and property consultants across the assigned region.Key Requirements:Experience: 46 years in Retail Real Estate or Brand Development (preferably in the Fashion & Lifestyle sector).Territory Coverage: West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Bihar, and Jharkhand.Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.Travel: This role involves extensive travel across the assigned regions.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and growing retail organization shaping the future of fashion and lifestyle in Eastern India.
