Job Objective

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for building and managing client relationships through phone interactions and in-person meetings when required, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving overall sales growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Acquire new clients through outbound and inbound phone calls
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable investment / broking solutions
  • Conduct client visits and face-to-face meetings when necessary

2. Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify new sales channels and business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Explore multiple sources of sales such as referrals, partnerships, and local market opportunities
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to identify growth potential

3. Team Coordination & Productivity Enhancement

  • Coordinate with sales and support teams to improve overall productivity
  • Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of sales targets
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Motivate the team to achieve individual and organizational goals

4. Reporting & Ownership

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, conversions, and revenue
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management
  • Take complete ownership of assigned targets and deliver results

Required Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

  • Prior experience in a

    Stock Broking Company or Financial Services firm

  • Minimum

    1–3 years

    of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build trust and close deals over phone conversations
  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience handling high-net-worth or active trading clients
  • Exposure to startup or high-growth environments
  • Leadership and team-handling experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
