Business Development Manager- Skill Development Vertical

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and committed Manager who can independently manage government skill development projects and contribute to the growth of the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects and build a strong foundation in the skill development sector.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & RFP Management:

• Identify and evaluate relevant tenders, RFPs, and EOIs in the skill development domain.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare and submit high-quality proposals within deadlines.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with ministries and departments including MSDE, NSDC, MPSSDM, and other state-level agencies.
• Maintain and develop strong working relationships with government officials and key decision-makers.

Scheme Expertise:

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of skilling schemes such as PMKVY, DDUGKY, Suryamitra, and state-specific initiatives.
• Align proposals and strategies to scheme guidelines and funding models.

Business Expansion:

• Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in the skill development ecosystem.
• Develop proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners.

Travel & Meetings:

• Willingness to travel across states for attending meetings, conferences, and discussions with stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in official forums and networking events.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development or project acquisition within the skill development sector.
• Strong understanding of government processes, tendering platforms (e.g., GeM, CPPP), and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, proposal writing, and project planning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
