Senior Manager Business Development (Architect Collaborations)
Location: BangaloreDepartment: Business Development & MarketingReports To: Head Sales & MarketingExperience: 712 years in luxury interiors, architecture liaison, or premium product sales to the A&D community (Architects & Designers)Role Summary:As a Senior Manager Business Development, you will be the brand's face to the architectural and design fraternity. Your core responsibility is to build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with architects, interior designers, and influencers who specify or recommend luxury furniture. You will help position our brand as a preferred partner in bespoke, high-end residential and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities:1. Architect & Designer EngagementBuild a strong network of practicing architects, luxury interior designers, and turnkey consultantsConduct regular one-on-one meetings, presentations, and walkthroughs at our Experience CentreMaintain a calendar of studio visits, product demos, and design consultations2. Strategic AlliancesInitiate and manage collaboration projects with leading architectural firmsWork with marketing teams to co-create events, talks, panel discussions, and designer showcasesIdentify brand ambassadors and tastemakers in the A&D community for partnerships3. Lead Generation & Pipeline DevelopmentWork closely with architects to source client referrals and early project leadsEnsure all leads from partner firms are recorded, nurtured, and handed off to the retail or project sales teamsShare regular updates and sales insights with internal stakeholders4. Market IntelligenceStay updated on upcoming luxury residential and hospitality projectsTrack competition activities and report on market trends, preferences, and challengesIdentify untapped architects, design studios, or regions for outreach5. Brand RepresentationRepresent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, award shows, and trade talksEnsure all brand touchpoints with the A&D community reflect Ovion's values of craftsmanship, customisation, and luxuryWork closely with the marketing team to ensure aligned messaging across presentations and campaignsKey Skills & Competencies:Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of architecture and interior design ecosystemsExcellent verbal and written communication, with a flair for storytelling and brand presentationExperience in luxury furniture, finishes, lifestyle products, or architectural services is highly preferredProficiency in CRM tools, Excel, PowerPoint and presentation softwareSelf-driven, highly networked, and able to manage high-value client relationships independentlyWhy Join UsYou'll be working with one of Bangalore's most respected luxury furniture brands one that's redefining personalisation and design-forward craftsmanship.
