Job Description

Responsible for identifying, developing, and growing new business opportunities within the logistics sector through prospecting, sales calls, and building client relationships, while also achieving sales targets. Maximum focus on Import activity . Role & responsibilities Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively identify potential clients and develop a strong pipeline of leads within the assigned territory. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify new growth areas. Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and cultivate new business opportunities. Conduct sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the company's logistics solutions and benefits. Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements. Regularly engage with clients to address their needs, resolve issues, and build trust. Sales Performance and Target Achievement: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management. Track sales activities and client interactions, using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools, to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Generate sales reports, analysing performance and providing insights for business development. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure successful client execution. Provide feedback to management regarding market changes, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Other Duties: Assist in preparing quotations and negotiating contracts with clients. Handle inquiries from clients and provide timely and accurate responses. Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay updated with industry trends. Preferred candidate profile Relevant experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of relevant logistics regulations and compliance requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve client issues effectively. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Sales Field Executive: Fresher also can apply with 6 months to 2 years of experience with MBA who really want to grow in logistic industry. Salary range will be 18,000/- to 25,000/- P.M.
