Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) Measurement is responsible for driving Sensia's Measurement Solutions sales through direct engagement and partner channels. This role is pivotal in achieving revenue targets aligned with Sensia's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and supporting the company broader Oil & Gas strategy.

The BDM will lead strategic pursuits, develop new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand Sensias market presence in Measurement Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for Sensias Measurement Solutions and Services through disciplined sales processes.
  • Drive revenue growth via direct sales and through channel partners and parent company sales teams.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Identify and develop new accounts and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Proposal Teams to ensure customer requirements are met with accurate and timely proposals.
  • Provide regular sales reports including forecasts, pipeline status, and activity summaries.
  • Promote the full Sensia portfolio by identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead strategic deal closures and set winning strategies in collaboration with regional/global teams.
  • Represent Sensia in industry forums, customer engagements, and regional Oil & Gas communities.
  • Champion the Sensia Measurement Affinity Team and Voice of the Customer initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in Business Development or Sales within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of metering, custody transfer, ultrasonic flow measurement, and sampling technologies.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical sales roles.
  • Strong financial and business acumen related to Measurement Solutions.
