Lead Networking Engineer

As a Lead Networking Engineer in our fast-growing Digital Business Unit, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing network infrastructure that supports digital systems from edge data collection to cloud integration. You will provide technical leadership across development and execution teams, ensuring secure, high-performance, and scalable networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new network architectures and enhance existing systems for improved performance and efficiency.
• Install, configure, and support network hardware including routers, switches, proxy servers, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching protocols to ensure optimal security and throughput.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology and cybersecurity teams to align network strategies.
• Plan and execute scheduled upgrades and firmware updates across network infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve network faults and outages.
• Provide regular network status reports to key stakeholders.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation for network systems.
• Review and approve network designs in complex digital solution proposals.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a network engineering role.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Networking, or Electronics Engineering.
• Network design, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
• Cloud networking solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• IoT/M2M technologies and communication protocols.
• Gateway and mesh node software development.
• Strong understanding of emerging mobile and IoT technologies.
• Experience in one or more IoT/M2M industry verticals.
• Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate.
