As a seasoned professional in business development, sales, or account management within the shipping, logistics, or supply chain software sectors, you will be responsible for developing and executing robust sales strategies to drive lead generation, deal closure, and revenue achievement for our shipping and logistics software solutions. Your role will involve proactively sourcing new leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and industry networking, targeting clients within the shipping, logistics, and supply chain sectors. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations will be crucial to ensure continuous business growth and customer satisfaction. You will be required to conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of emerging trends, competitive landscape, and business opportunities in the logistics technology space. Presenting tailored product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, engaging in contract negotiations, and closing deals in alignment with client requirements and company objectives will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating effectively with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product, and technical departments to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs will be essential. Your role will also involve providing accurate sales forecasts, progress reports, and identifying challenges or risks in achieving sales targets. Additionally, you will focus on customer retention, exploring upselling opportunities, and representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance visibility and stay updated on industry trends. If you have 8-10 years of relevant experience, a strong industry knowledge of shipping, transportation, and logistics, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent relationship-building and communication skills, and the ability to present complex software solutions effectively, we invite you to apply.
