Role Overview:

Layam Group is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our client base across South India. The candidate will play a critical role in driving new business, achieving ambitious client onboarding targets, and contributing directly to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and drive new client acquisition.
• Achieve and consistently exceed a target of onboarding a minimum of 4 new clients per month.
• Develop and maintain strong professional networks across Chennai, Bangalore, and South India markets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experiences.
• Utilize CRM systems effectively for sales tracking, reporting, and strategic planning.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of proven business development, sales, or client acquisition experience.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients regularly (3-6 per month).
• Strong familiarity with Chennai, Bangalore, and broader South India regional markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Competent in CRM tools and market analysis techniques.
• Ability to travel regionally as required.

Education:

• Graduate in any discipline; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
