Business Development Manager IT Staffing

Roles & Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients across industries for IT staffing and consulting services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers (CXOs, HR Heads, Procurement Managers, IT Directors).
  • Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders for staffing services.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Understand client hiring needs and workforce strategies to propose customized staffing solutions.
  • Manage client escalations and resolve issues effectively.

Recruitment Collaboration

  • Work closely with the recruitment/delivery team to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Provide insights on market trends, skill availability, and salary benchmarks to recruiters.
  • Ensure quality standards and compliance with client-specific requirements.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals through IT staffing services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements with clients.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and business metrics using CRM tools.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and go-to-market plans for IT staffing services.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and job fairs to build brand presence.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain strong internal communication between sales, recruiting, and leadership teams.
