Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Manager to join our GIS solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical and communication skills, with the ability to understand client requirements, translate them into effective geospatial solutions, and support the sales process through impactful documentation and presentations. The role requires close collaboration with clients, internal technical teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Pre-Sales & Technical Sales Support:

a. Engage with prospective clients to understand business requirements. b. Provide technical consultation and solutioning during pre-sales meetings. c. Work closely with the sales team to craft compelling GIS-based solutions.

2. Documentation & Content Development

a. Prepare detailed concept notes, technical proposals, and solution documents.

b. Create and maintain a repository of reusable technical content and templates.

3. Client Engagement

a. Conduct requirement gathering sessions, both virtually and on-site.

b. Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution architecture.

c. Act as a liaison between clients and internal project teams.

4. Presentations & Demos

a. Deliver technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and live product demos.

b. Develop slide decks, visual aids, and collaterals showcasing solution capabilities.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

a. Work closely with internal functions.

b. Provide inputs for product development based on market feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications -

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geoinformatics, Geology, Geography, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. 8–12 years of experience in GIS, technical sales, or solution consulting.

3. Strong understanding of GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.), remote sensing, drone data, and mapping workflows.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Proficiency in drafting technical documents and delivering client-facing presentations.

6. Experience with urban infrastructure, utilities, town planning, or Smart Cities (preferred).

7. Ability to manage multiple proposals and clients simultaneously.

Desirable Attributes -

1. Experience working with government tenders and institutional clients.

2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

3. Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
