Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who has a strong background in selling educational programs/courses and proven expertise in team handling. The ideal candidate should be target-driven, skilled in CRM management, and capable of leading a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a sales team, ensuring consistent performance and target achievement.
  • Drive sales of educational programs and courses through effective business development strategies.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and track performance metrics.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to improve conversions and productivity.
  • Handle key escalations and support the team in closing high-value deals.
  • Maintain accurate sales data, reports, and pipelines using CRM tools.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure high standards of customer engagement and relationship management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 510 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in EdTech, training, or education programs.
  • Proven experience in selling programs/courses.
  • Strong team handling experience (managing teams of sales executives).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for lead management and reporting.
  • Excellent target achievement and performance management skills.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in one or more South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
