Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth for our design and development services. With your strategic mindset and in-depth knowledge of the digital landscape, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads through proactive business research and intelligence. Your success in this role will be driven by your sales acumen, market analysis skills, and understanding of the design and development industry. You will report to the Director of Business Development and bring to the table at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead Generation & Business Research: - Proactively identifying and researching potential clients in target industries - Utilizing business intelligence tools to gather market data and analyze competitor activity - Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads through targeted outreach and networking - Conducting in-depth analysis of client needs to tailor solutions effectively - Building and maintaining a database of potential clients and key decision-makers Sales & Client Relationship Management: - Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets - Conducting compelling presentations and demonstrations of our services - Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders - Negotiating and closing contracts - Collaborating with project management and development teams for seamless client onboarding Market Analysis & Strategy: - Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats - Providing insights to refine service offerings and marketing strategies - Staying updated on design and development technologies and best practices - Contributing to the development of sales and marketing materials Reporting & Performance Tracking: - Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and lead generation efforts in our CRM system - Preparing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights - Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, along with a proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the design and technology industry. You should possess excellent research and analytical skills, exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to build strong client relationships. Being self-motivated, results-oriented, and proficient in CRM systems and business intelligence tools are essential for this position. Preferred qualifications include experience in selling software development services or UI/UX design, as well as an existing network of contacts in target industries.
