Job Description

We're looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you'll be responsible for acquiring new retail partners for our platform, focusing primarily on fashion brands and mall-based retailers. This is a high-impact position that will directly contribute to our growth trajectory as we expand across multiple cities and malls in India. Role & responsibilities Retailer Acquisition : Identify, approach, and onboard retail brands and stores onto the UO platform, with a focus on fashion and lifestyle segments Partnership Development : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at retail brands, including store managers, marketing managers, and corporate decision-makers Sales Pipeline Management : Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential retail partners through prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging existing relationships Demonstration & Training : Conduct platform demonstrations for potential partners and assist in initial training after onboarding Revenue Targets : Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly retailer acquisition and revenue targets Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and results in our CRM system Preferred candidate profile Required 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, retail tech, or related industries Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills Good communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with ability to work alone and in teams Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field Willing to travel locally for meetings and demos Preferred Experience selling to retailers, brands, or mall operators Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, or digital marketing Knowledge of the Indian retail landscape, particularly in mall-based retail Familiarity with retail technology platforms or e-commerce solutions SPIN Selling methodology training and experience BANT qualification framework knowledge and application Perks and benefits Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives Opportunity to be part of a high-growth startup transforming the retail industry Collaborative and innovative company culture Standard 5-day work week with competitive leave benefits Location This position will be based in Bangalore with potential travel to malls and retail locations throughout the city.
