RacknSell is an India-based B2B e-commerce platform specialising in facility and office supplies. It offers over 40 categories of products and serves SMEs, corporates, retailers with sourcing, procurement automation tools and supply-chain services.

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth, expanding the client base, and strengthening RacknSell's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target and reach out to potential new clients (SMEs, corporates, procurement heads, offices, facility management companies) who could benefit from RacknSell's sourcing / procurement platform.
  • Generate leads via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn / social media, networking and referrals.
  • Qualify leads, conduct meetings/demos of RacknSell's offerings (products + procurement automation platform) and convert enquiries into clients.
  • Understand client needs related to facility/office supplies, industrial consumables, procurement pain-points; propose appropriate solutions from RacknSell's product/capability stack.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline; maintain CRM records of activities, follow-ups, proposals, conversions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (new business revenue, number of clients onboarded, order size).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing or a related field.
  • 1-3 years (or more, depending on level) of business development / sales experience in B2B sourcing/supply/industrial/office-services or e-commerce.
  • Good understanding of B2B procurement
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills.
  • Comfortable with digital tools (CRM, MS Office, sales dashboards).
