Role Summary
Support sales and marketing team in implementing the sales strategies, creating value propositions and with various operational activities required to achieve sales goals
Responsibilities
Sales Outreach Campaign
- Understand the business objectives and execute structured outreach campaigns (email, sequences, follow-ups) that support pipeline generation.
- Work closely with the sales team to craft clear, compelling outreach messages tailored to buyer personas and sales goals.
- Uses database segmentation and targeting as effectively as possible
- Coordinate with sales reps and marketing team to ensure smooth execution of all prospecting and engagement activities.
- Track and optimize outreach performance (open rates, replies, meetings booked), monitor campaign results and provide detailed performance reports for continuous improvement.
- Work with other experts within the team to ensure the smooth running of all elements of campaigns
- Stay updated on best practices in sales outreach and buyer engagement strategies.
Lead generation, engagement and CRM management
- Identifies opportunities, produces leads and books appointments for the sales team with the emphasis on high quality leads
- Proactively follows up on leads generated and takes initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
- Updates CRM database after each call and manages the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted outreach activities can take place
- Strives to achieve call conversion success by following up leads by phone
- Works closely with the marketing team in client research to achieve sales objectives
- Maintains lead engagement status and reports in CRM to provide recommendations for marketing
- Attends meetings with Managers to update information and discuss any issues
- Contributes to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practices
Pre Sales
- Ensure leads are tracked, followed and closed in a planned manner
- Coordinate meeting scheduling, confirmations, and handoffs between prospects and sales reps.
- Support demo readiness by ensuring sales has all relevant prospect information before the call.
- Assist in drafting proposals or pricing outlines for early-stage opportunities when needed
- Prepare initial sales materials intro decks, product snapshots, value summaries — for early-stage conversations.
Research
- Research and keep the current list of prospects and customers updated in CRM
- Research on various events and conferences to help planning and participation decisions
- Research on new leads and organization profiles, in preparation for sales calls
Critical Success Factors for the role
- Ability to Design and execute 12-15 email campaigns per year
- Ability to set up a process to track and report the outcomes of each email campaign
- Generates 25-30 qualified leads per year through a mix of email marketing and conferences
- Ability to guide inside sales to generate 80-100 prospect meetings per year

Qualification
Span of Experience
BE and MBA, with Sales or Marketing
1-2 years

- Proficient with phone presence
- Experience working with Zoho, Sales Handy or similar CRM
