Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth in the banking sector as a Business Development Executive. Your main duties will include identifying potential clients, promoting banking products, and building strong customer relationships. To excel in this role, you must be confident, persuasive, and sales-driven, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in gold loan sales. Key Responsibilities: - Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: - Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, calls, referrals, and digital outreach. - Establish and nurture relationships with individual and business clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Understand customer financial needs and suggest appropriate banking solutions. - Sales & Product Promotion: - Market a variety of banking products such as savings/current accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, insurance, and especially gold loans. - Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to the branch's revenue objectives. - Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer profiles and financial objectives. - Lead Generation & Market Expansion: - Conduct market research to discover new business prospects within the designated territory. - Participate in local marketing activities, events, and campaigns to boost visibility and lead generation. - Maintain an up-to-date lead database and ensure regular follow-ups to convert prospects. - Customer Support & Onboarding: - Assist customers in the account opening or loan application processes. - Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure seamless onboarding. - Address client inquiries promptly and uphold high service standards. - Daily Reporting & Coordination: - Keep detailed records of daily activities, leads, and conversions. - Generate reports and updates for the branch manager or business development head. - Collaborate closely with internal teams for the smooth execution of services and campaigns. Qualifications Required: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Good understanding of banking products, especially gold loans, and customer requirements. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. - Bachelor's degree is mandatory. - A minimum of 1 year of experience in gold loan sales is required.
