Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities by tracking industry trends, events, publications, and competitor activities.
  • Generate and qualify leads through platforms like LinkedIn, Freelancer, and Upwork (Elance)
  • Contact potential partners/clients to explore and propose business deals.
  • Analyze market strategies, client requirements, and financials to evaluate and screen opportunities.
  • Develop effective negotiation strategies by understanding risks, potential benefits, and client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align new ventures with company strategy and operations.
  • Maintain and update client information in CRM systems (Zoho/Salesforce preferred).
  • Protect organizational value by handling all client and business data with confidentiality.
  • Continuously improve processes by participating in training, learning programs, and professional networks.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for management and clients.
  • Take ownership of tasks, deliver on new requests, and explore opportunities to add value to organizational growth.
  • Contribute to managing and coordinating inside sales teams across multiple geographic locations.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and proposals.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience:

    12 years in Business Development / Inside Sales (preferably IT or Digital Marketing).
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of international client handling (US preferred).
  • Enthusiastic, target-driven, and proactive personality.
