Job Title : Business Development Executive Iron & Steel Industry Location : Chennai Experience : 0 to 1 Years Industry : Iron & Steel / Metal Manufacturing Job Responsibilities : Identify new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, fabrication, and industrial sectors. Develop and manage relationships with clients, builders, contractors, and industrial buyers. Generate sales leads and convert them into business through field visits, calls, and follow-ups. Conduct market research to understand competitors, pricing trends, and customer needs. Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, production, accounts) to ensure timely delivery and service. Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals. Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain records of sales, revenue, client feedback, and market intelligence. Key Skills Required : Knowledge of iron, steel products (TMT bars, MS plates, angles, channels, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good negotiation and convincing ability Self-motivated and target-driven Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic ERP/CRM tools Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Mechanical or Civil Engineering MBA or PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
