The position is responsible for generating business and building region’s growth strategy by selling Canon printer products – Inkjet, Laser - through channel partners

Education

Any Graduate. Preferably MBA.

Experience

2 years +

Industry Preference

IT Peripheral (hardware)/OA Industry/Consumer Durable

  • Having strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication, articulation and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage channel partners, relationship orientation
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned geography.

Job Role

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving

    secondary sales performance

    , ensuring

    effective coverage and execution

    across assigned markets. The role demands strong ownership of sales metrics, forecasting accuracy, and on-ground execution excellence through regular market travel and reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Sales Target

    : Drive achievement of primary sales targets through effective channel planning and execution. Ensure product availability, timely billing, and alignment with secondary sales trends.
  • Weekly Forecasting

    : Prepare and maintain accurate weekly sales forecasts by analyzing secondary data, market trends, and partner input
  • Secondary Sales Achievement:

    Ensure achievement of secondary sales targets across a minimum of

    100 CAR counters

    . Monthly target achievement and Territory growth plan.
  • Forecasting:

    Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts aligned with business objectives and market potential.
  • OPSI Management:

    Drive OPSI processes to ensure consistent availability, visibility, and sell-out at retail counters.
  • Sales Coverage:

    Plan and execute effective coverage plan across assigned territories to maximize reach and productivity.
  • Market Travel:

    Conduct regular market visits to monitor performance, build relationships, and identify business opportunities. Plan and execute BTL programs to drive partner activation, engagement, and sell-out initiatives
