Job Title: Business Development Executive - Tech Firm (Software/Web/Mobile Development)

Location: Kolkata (On-site)

Role Overview:

We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to hunt new clients, build partnerships, and expand our portfolio in the tech space. You'll focus on generating leads for software/web/mobile projects, closing deals, and bringing in revenue. This is a high-impact role with uncapped earning potential through incentives—perfect for a hustler who thrives on commissions!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients (e.g., startups, SMEs, enterprises) needing software, web, or mobile development services.
  • Generate leads via cold calling, emails, networking events, LinkedIn, and industry meetups in Kolkata and beyond.
  • Pitch our services, conduct demos, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Build and maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with our dev team to align on project scopes and timelines.
  • Attend tech conferences, webinars, and local events.
  • Track leads in CRM.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for new client acquisitions and revenue.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in BD/sales for IT/software companies (experience in web/mobile dev sales a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; fluent in English and Bengali/Hindi.
  • Proven track record of closing deals (share your quota attainment if possible).
  • Tech-savvy: Understand basics of software dev, agile processes, and client pain points.
  • Hustler mindset: Self-motivated, with a network in Kolkata's business scene.
  • Bachelor's degree (any field); MBA or sales certifications are bonuses.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary: ₹12,000 - ₹15,000/month (based on experience).
  • Uncapped commission: 5-7% on project revenue you bring
  • Total OTE (On-Target Earnings): ₹4-8 Lakhs/year for top performers.
