Business Development Executive (BDE)

KiddeBudde is Chennai's first community-driven platform that encourages kids to swap toys and books, reducing screen time and building real-world social connections. Through our mobile app, parents can seamlessly exchange pre-loved items, enroll kids in creative workshops, and connect with certified coaches across 50+ skills, all while promoting a sustainable, joyful, and screen-free childhood.

Role: Business Development Executive

Experience: 1-3 years (Male candidates only)

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Executive at KiddeBudde, you will be key in expanding our community and creating engaging value-driven content. Your day-to-day will include:

1. Outreach & Partnerships:

• Conduct cold calls to coaches, venue partners, and potential collaborators to onboard them to the platform.
• Build relationships with local talent, workshop facilitators, and activity centers.

2. Content & Communication:

• Collaborate with the content team to create social media content, including writing captions, short-form posts, and video scripts.
• Help ideate and write engaging video reels to promote workshops, success stories, and platform features.

3. Event Support:

• Assist the core team in planning and executing community events, workshops, and swap meets.
• Coordinate with vendors, coaches, and parents to ensure smooth event operations.

4. Writing & Thought Leadership:

• Write blogs and short articles around parenting, child development, creative play, and sustainability.
• Research trends and insights to position KiddeBudde as a thought leader in the early childhood space.

Requirements:

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal & written)

2. Creative thinker with an interest in content, social media, and early education

3. Willingness to engage with new people and build long-term relationships

4. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment

5. Bonus: Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels, or event coordination
