Business Architect -Maximus India

Role :

Business Architect at the senior level will work closely with the Sr. Business Architect/ Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, business architecture principles, and technical knowledge in the IT field. Business Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define business requirements, develop and maintain business architecture models, and ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that service offerings, processes, and organizational structures align with the companys strategic goals and expectations.
• Develop and maintain business capability models specific to capability delivery, ensuring that the organization’s capabilities support the business strategy and client outcomes.
• Analyze and optimize service delivery processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies and recommending process improvements to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
• Work closely with business leaders, operations, IT, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment between service delivery models and overall business strategy.
• Lead and support initiatives aimed at transforming service offerings, processes, and organizational structures to meet evolving market demands and client expectations.
• Design and refine customer journey maps to ensure a seamless client experience, aligning service processes with client needs and expectations.
• Ensure that all service processes comply with internal governance, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Drive innovation in service delivery by identifying new opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and service enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and other architecture teams to ensure that business architecture supports both service operations and technology strategies.
• Develop and maintain business architecture documentation, including service models, capability maps, and business process diagrams specific to the services industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives and support business outcomes.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies and stakeholders’ discussions to bridge the gap (if any) and align to Business Objective/ Product Roadmap.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Post-Graduate / Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with business architecture modelling tools and techniques.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in client-facing roles, with a strong focus on aligning service offerings with customer needs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• Must be Proficient with MS Office Tools – MS Visio, MS Power Point, MS Excel
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good to have - Business Architecture Certification, Agile Certification
• Good to have - Experience working with Sparx tool, Lucid Charts
