SummaryAs an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in SAP Fieldglass Contingent Workforce to deliver impactful solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP Fieldglass implementationsfrom requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, to go live and post go live support.Own and architect integrations between Fieldglass and other SAP modules (e.g. S/4HANA, Ariba, SuccessFactors, SAP ECC) as well as non SAP systems using middleware, APIs, cloud integration tools.Provide technical and functional subject matter expertise in modules such as Contingent Workforce Management, Services Procurement, Statement of Work (SOW), Worker Profile Management.Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical/functional designs.Lead, mentor, and coach junior and mid level Fieldglass consultants; establish technical standards, configuration guidelines, and best practices.Drive process optimizationsidentify inefficiencies in processes, recommend improvements, implement automation, ensure compliance (legal, tax, labor, data security, etc.).Engage with business stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Finance, Vendor Management) to understand needs, influence decisions, and ensure alignment.Manage risk, issues, and dependencies in implementations; ensure quality, performance, and robustness of the delivered solutions.Ensure that the system is maintainable, scalable, secure; oversee upgrades, patches, version transitions; adhere to change management, documentation standards.Monitor external workforce spending, vendor performance, compliance metrics; implement dashboards and analytics to provide insights.Work in agile environments; participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming etc.Professional Experience:ExperienceTypically, 7 to 10 years of relevant Fieldglass / external workforce management consulting / implementation experience.Proven track record of multiple full cycle SAP Fieldglass implementations, with integration experience.Deep functional knowledge of the main Fieldglass modulesContingent Workforce, Services Procurement, Worker Profile, SOW etc.Strong technical skills for integrationAPIs, middleware (SAP CPI / CIG / PI/PO), data mapping, customizations.Understanding of related SAP modules (e.g. S/4HANA, Ariba, SuccessFactors, SAP ECC) for smooth end to end process flows.Experience with global deployments managing settings for multiple geographies, compliance with cross border labor laws, tax, regulatory and data security requirements.Leadership and mentoring experienceable to lead small to medium teams, guide, review work.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsable to interact with senior leadership, clients, and vendors.Strong analytical, problem solving skills.Familiarity with agile methodologies.Key Behaviors & Attributes:Strategic thinkingAbility to see the big picture, anticipate future challenges or opportunities, propose scalable solutions.Ownership & accountabilityTaking ownership of deliverables, quality, timelines.AdaptabilityDealing with changing requirements, complexity, and ambiguity.Mentorship mindsetHelping others grow, sharing knowledge.Customer focusInsisting on quality, user adoption, compliance, satisfaction.AdaptabilityDealing with changing requirements, complexity, and ambiguity.Mentorship mindsetHelping others grow, sharing knowledge.Customer focusInsisting on quality, user adoption, compliance, satisfaction.Good to have Experience:Exposure and knowledge about SAP FieldglassCertifications in SAP Fieldglass modulesStrong Communication & Documentation skillsSAP Fieldglass integration with SAP ECC or SAP Ariba or Success factor exposureAny additional Certification Personal Attributes:Excellent Communication SkillsCollaboration & TeamworkStrategic ThinkingLeadership & OwnershipAttention to Detail & Quality FocusCustomer-Centric MindsetEthics & Integrity
