Role Overview: As a Business Analyst at PhonePe, you will be an integral part of the pod strategy, defining critical metrics, monitoring performance trends, and influencing interventions. You will collaborate closely with the business and product functions to understand the business problem and translate them into the right analytical problem statement. Additionally, you will own the entire insight generation phase, conduct deep analysis, and provide unbiased answers based on data-driven hypothesis. You will also contribute with individual thoughts on improving critical metrics, act as the analytics and visualization SME for the team, and mentor other analysts while playing an active role in the hiring and onboarding process of new team members. Key Responsibilities: - Define critical metrics and monitor performance trends, influencing interventions - Collaborate with business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements - Own insight generation phase, conduct deep analysis, and provide unbiased answers based on data-driven hypothesis - Contribute with individual thoughts on improving critical metrics - Act as analytics and visualization SME for the team, ensuring dashboards are designed for easy consumption - Mentor other analysts, participate in the hiring process, and onboard new team members Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of analytics experience in relevant roles - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to write complex queries on SQL, manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources for dashboarding and analysis - Intuition for data handling and ability to work with big data sources - Proficiency in Excel and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView - Understanding of data-analysis languages such as R, Python, and core statistical concepts - Experience in building ML models is advantageous - Strong communication skills, ability to explain thoughts and ideas clearly either verbally or in written form (Note: Additional details about PhonePe Group have not been mentioned in the job description.),
