Job Description

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project managers.
Assist in solution design and participate in testing, training, and implementation.
Create and maintain documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and user manuals.
Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues.
Support change management activities and ensure solutions align with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is a plus.
