Job Title:

Job Summary:

Business Analyst with strong expertise in the insurance domain

Key Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to
gather, analyze, and document business requirements
related to insurance products and services.
Collaborate with IT teams to
develop and implement system enhancements
for policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting.
Conduct
gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
for new system implementations or modifications.
Develop
functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
to facilitate system design and development.
Work with
QA teams
to define test scenarios and validate insurance-related functionalities.
Conduct
user acceptance testing (UAT)
and support end-users in system adoption.
Assist in
regulatory and compliance requirements
within the insurance industry.
Identify
opportunities for process improvement
and recommend solutions to enhance business efficiency.
Provide
training and documentation
for end-users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of experience
as a Business Analyst in the
Insurance domain
(Life, Health, Property & Casualty, etc.).
Strong understanding of
insurance workflows, underwriting, claims processing, and policy administration systems
.
Experience with
insurance software platforms
(e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, or other core insurance systems).
Knowledge of
insurance regulations and compliance requirements
.
Proficiency in
Agile/Scrum methodologies
, including writing user stories and managing backlogs.
Strong experience with
SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools
.
Hands-on experience with
process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN, etc.)
.
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
