Role Overview:

Business Analyst

The analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring project costs, financial performance, vendor management, cash flows, and execution efficiency by providing actionable insights through data-backed analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and a deep understanding of operations and financial metrics in a project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively.
  • Work closely with stakeholders including leadership, operations, finance, and technology teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes.
  • Support project planning, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure timely delivery and achievement of KPIs.
  • Assist in data modeling, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis for business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
  • Continuously review and improve reporting tools and data collection processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies that can support strategic decision-making.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analysis, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in construction, interiors, or project-based industries.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools: Must to have - Advanced Ms Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI & Good to have add-ons: Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work.
