Business Analyst / Project Lead - Financial Reporting

As a Business Analyst / Project Lead with expertise in Financial reporting in Fund Industry, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Good knowledge of Financial reporting in Fund Industry, including experience in financial reporting operations with multiple global accounting and reporting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS, etc., and various global fund structures like RIC, OEIC, "33 Act Fund, SICAV, etc. - Experience in the financial services industry and in implementing or supporting financial reporting software. - Experience in Financial Reporting of Traditional (Mutual Funds) or Alternative funds (Hedge funds). Your qualifications and skillset should include: - Good knowledge of Financial reporting or Investment banking. - Total of 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 2 years in a lead/managerial role. - Led a team of at least 5 people in a global organization. - Self-motivated with a focus on results. - Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management. Your roles and responsibilities will include: - Promoting a culture of innovation and transparency. - Identifying critical team members and devising retention plans. - Performance management, Rewards and recognition, Career planning of the team. - Ensuring Agile practices are being followed, with knowledge of Kanban as a bonus. - Monitoring and mitigating project risks and devising action plans in consultation with the global team. - Stakeholder management including Team, global managers, and local managers. - Ensuring the right utilization of team members by assigning and monitoring tasks. In addition to the above, the company is in the IT/Computers-Software industry and the role involves working as a Business Analyst / Project Lead focusing on Mutual Funds / Hedge Funds Financial Reporting. The key skills required include Fund Accounting, Business Analyst, SDLC, Financial Reporting, IFRS, US GAAP, RIC, OEIC, "33 Act Fund, SICAV, Financial reporting in Fund Industry, and implementing or supporting financial reporting software. Your educational background should ideally be B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech to excel in this role.
