Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the design and integration of advanced imaging data workflows and analytics platforms for clinical research. This role will focus on bridging business needs with technical capabilities, particularly in the areas of algorithmic processing, data integration, and regulatory compliance.

This role will be instrumental in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and user-centric solutions.

Role & responsibilities

Analyze current imaging infrastructure and identify gaps in scalability, automation, and GxP compliance.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for AI/ML model integration and platform capabilities.
Support integration with systems like Medidata RAVE, PACS, Domino, and AWS-based storage.
Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GxP) and data governance policies.
Collaborate with imaging specialists to ensure compatibility with formats like DICOM, SVS, NDPI, and others.
Facilitate FAIR data principles and centralized access strategies
Engage with clinical and business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, IVDR, CLIA, and CAP.
Apply standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM in system design and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare IT or imaging domains.
Strong understanding of medical imaging workflows and viewer technologies.
Experience with image formats and standards (DICOM, SVS, NDPI).
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with PACS, RIS, LIS, or digital pathology platforms.
Exposure to AI/ML applications in imaging or diagnostics. (added advantage)
Background in healthcare informatics or clinical workflows.
Familiarity with cloud-based imaging platforms and data repositories.
Experience working in global delivery models (onsite-offshore).
