Job Description


The Business Analyst - Logistics drives operational excellence by strategically aligning business stakeholder priorities with internal and external partners. This role demands a continuous improvement mindset, exceptional customer focus, and specialized expertise in invoice processing and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Management & Processing

  • Process purchase invoices and third-party invoices within established turnaround times (TAT)
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all invoice-related transactions

Vendor Relations & Communication

  • Act as primary liaison for vendors and shippers regarding invoice payment status and Statement of Account (SOA)
  • Resolve discrepancies and provide timely solutions to payment-related issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders

Performance Metrics & Analysis

  • Monitor critical process metrics and key performance indicators
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify operational gaps
  • Drive partner alignment and collaborative team initiatives

Process Optimization

  • Identify improvement opportunities across logistics and invoicing workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
  • Enhance overall operational efficiency through data-driven insights
  • Key Stakeholder Interfaces

External Partners:

  • Supply chain stakeholders across multiple markets
  • Transporters, shippers, vendors, and suppliers

Business Processes:

  • Logistics operations and invoice processing
  • Control tower operations and carrier/shipper management
  • Documentation and regulatory compliance

Internal Collaboration:

  • Operations functions across global zones
  • Global Business Services (GBS), Global Logistics, Supply Planning, and IT teams

Requirements

Experience

  • 4 to 6 years in invoice processing and logistics management

Technical Skills

Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Experience with SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and Ariba platforms
  • Knowledge of Excel Macros for automation
