Job Description - Business Analyst (Mid-Level)

Role Overview

We are looking for a mid -level Business Analyst with a strong understanding of business analysis fundamentals. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with stakeholders, understand business requirements clearly, and translate them into well-structured documentation for engineering and product teams.

Required Skills (Strong Basics)

Strong understanding of Business Analysis fundamentals

Experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder communication

Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria

Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good to Have

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, or system workflows

Experience in data analysis or reporting

Exposure to UAT and release processes

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders

Create clear and detailed BRDs, FRDs, and user stories

Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams

Break down requirements into epics, stories, and acceptance criteria

Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification

Validate solutions during development and testing to ensure requirements are met

Manage requirement changes and maintain proper documentation

Assist in UAT and stakeholder sign-off
