Job Title: Business Analyst SaaS Product Configuration Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 5+ Years Reports To: Product Manager / Implementation Lead About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in SaaS product configuration . This role will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring successful onboarding and configuration of our SaaS platform to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document client requirements related to product configuration and workflows. Translate business needs into functional specifications, configuration guides, and user stories. Work closely with product managers, implementation teams, developers, and QA to ensure accurate and timely configuration of the SaaS solution. Lead configuration sessions with clients to understand use cases, workflows, and business rules. Support configuration testing, validation, and troubleshooting during UAT and go-live phases. Develop and maintain documentation for product configuration, SOPs, and best practices. Assist in the development of configuration tools, templates, and reusable assets to improve scalability. Provide subject matter expertise during pre-sales and post-sales processes when needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant, preferably with SaaS products. Proven experience in SaaS platform configuration , client onboarding, or enterprise software delivery. Strong knowledge of business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design. Familiarity with data structures, validation rules, user permissions, workflows, and configuration logic. Ability to document clear and concise business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage client expectations effectively. Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira , Confluence , or similar. Proficiency in Excel, flowcharting tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio), and basic data analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SaaS domains such as supply chain, compliance, HR, finance, or EHS. Exposure to APIs , JSON , or XML for data integrations is a plus. Familiarity with SQL for data validation and ad-hoc reporting is advantageous. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
