As a Business Analyst - Functional IT, your role is crucial in understanding domain requirements, documenting them comprehensively, and providing functional inputs for solution design. Your primary responsibilities include: - Interacting with clients and internal functional people to grasp domain requirements effectively. - Ensuring complete documentation of all requirements and explaining them to team members, clients, and stakeholders as per the agreed template. - Creating various documentation such as Use Cases, User Stories, Business Requirement Document, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and Functional Specification Document. - Developing graphical representations like Activity Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Flow Charts as needed, including UML diagrams. - Offering functional inputs for Solution Design and collaborating closely with development teams to transfer business knowledge and provide guidance. Desired Profile: - Understanding financial derivatives & Risk Measurement methodology (VaR). - Experience in at least 1 complete SDLC. - Proficiency in Elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements, preferably for a risk management system. - Strong project documentation skills and experience with project delivery and test governance process. - Advanced knowledge of MS-Visio for various UML diagrams and MS-Office Suite like MS-Excel, Power Point. - Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. - 4 years of work experience. - Exposure to Agile environment is a plus. - Preferably, some programming experience/knowledge of statistical packages/SQL querying experience/ Knowledge of ETL technologies. - Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal risk functions, business units. - Team player with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness to delve into details, enthusiasm, and desire to drive change and execute strategy. - Prior experience in using CTRM software is preferred but not mandatory.
