About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team and play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our CRE & Construction loan origination and administration platform. You will be a key bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and the technology team, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers in the commercial real estate market.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for CRE & Construction loan origination and post-closing administration (including draw management and disbursement processes).
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys with stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points.
• Translate business needs into clear, concise, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Product Development & Enhancement:
• Collaborate with product owners to define product vision, roadmap, and release plans.
• Contribute to the design and development of new features and functionalities for our loan origination and administration platform.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and automation.
• Construction Loan Monitoring Expertise:
• Develop a deep understanding of construction loan processes, including budget management, draw requests, inspections, and disbursements.
• Ensure the system accurately reflects industry best practices and regulatory requirements for construction loan administration.
• Documentation and Communication:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data dictionaries, and user manuals.
• Effectively communicate requirements and product updates to stakeholders across different departments.
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA testers to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on commercial real estate lending.
• Deep understanding of CRE & Construction loan products, including origination, underwriting, closing, and post-closing administration.
• Hands-on experience with construction loan monitoring and draw management processes.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bachelors degree in business, Finance, or a related field.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS).
• Familiarity with construction lending software and technologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to CRE & Construction lending.
